|Children & Youth at All Saints|
All Saints' welcomes children to its worship and community life. We are committed to love, nurture, protect and treasure every child and young person as a gift from God.
In order to provide ministry to younger children, All Saints' holds Children's Church each Sunday at the 9.30am service during the school term time. Two Sundays a month, special teaching, music and activities for 4 to 12 year olds are provided in the Parish Hall. The children and leaders commence the service and leave for Children's Church near the beginning of the service. They rejoin the worship in time for the sacrament of Holy Communion. On the other Sundays of the month, children stay in church and are provided with a bag of activities for use during the service. There is also a short children's address during the service. Parents are welcome to attend Children's Church with their children or stay and attend the Solemn High Mass. Alternatively, children can be collected after church at 10.45am.
Children's Church activities are co-ordinated by the rector with the help of parishioners. All Saints' Ainslie complies with the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn's policies and practices relating to child protection. More information on these policies and practices is available on the Diocese website.
There are also music opportunities for children and young people. Please see our Music page for further information.
