Welcome to our website. We hope that it will give you the information you are looking for, as well as a sense of our life as a community of faith. All Saints' is an Anglican parish in the liberal Catholic tradition. We love worship, and seek to serve God, our neighbour and the world. We cherish diversity and engage wholeheartedly with the Scriptures and tradition. Excellent music, worship and preaching are important to us. In all that we do we aim to deepen our relationship with God and express God's love in the world.
We are blessed with a beautiful church building and a diverse and welcoming congregation. Although we are an inner city church, many of our parishioners come from other parts of Canberra and from the surrounding region. The congregation includes people of all ages, from babies to octogenerians, and from many different backgrounds. Visitors are very welcome at any time.
May God's blessing be with you.
ANNOUNCEMENT ON REFUGEE ACTION
All Saints Ainslie has joined the coalition of churches across Australia offering sanctuary to refugees facing deportation to Nauru and Manus Island. A press release was issued on February 9th, notifying the public of this stand by All Saints' parish. The decision was taken with the full agreement of the parish executive, however we are aware that this is a sensitive issue, and that there may be some who hold sincere but different opinions. All Saints' will also work to help provide accommodation and support to assist refugees and asylum seekers to become part of the local community.
